Home Hardware Plus has four varieties of continuous hinges to match all your possible continuous hinge desires. A continuous hinge in the most basic sense is a hinge that runs the whole length of the surface, instead of [typically] three select points evenly spaced. The two sides that make up the hinge join in the center in a teeth like fashion, to form one moving part that is evenly supportive and a tad more conspicuous. Made from architectural aluminum and anodized so that they can resist corrosion and maintain a more general wear and tear, these hinges are also notorious for being called “piano hinges”. Our hinges comes in the four following functions: full mortise flush, full mortise offset, full surface continuous, and full surface limited frame.
